Nephew Charlie’s Nursery

When my sister first told me she was pregnant, I couldn’t wait to help her decorate the new baby’s nursery. Since they weren’t finding out the gender until delivery day, we chose a neutral color palette that incorporated grays, yellows, teal, polka dots and chevron.

After picking out fabrics together, I sewed the crib skirt, changing pad cover, baby blanket and triangle bunting. It was wonderful to visit Emily and baby Charlie this summer and see his sweet little room. It’s the perfect spot for snuggles and peaceful dreams.

  1. This is adorable. I love every detail down to the blanket basket! I need one of those in every room… And I am so happy to see the Hemnes dresser as the changing table. It’s the best. I got my first Hemnes Ikea dresser for Ivar and now I basically collect them. Elsie has one. I want the tall one. They’re the perfect height for changing and the drawers are deep and awesome. I’ll stop now. I am not sponsored by Ikea. :)
    Joyfully,
